Photozig Unveils New Personalized Online Photo Album with Free Slideshow Software

Free digital photo albums and slideshow programs to enjoy and share memories

Moffett Field, CA – April 21, 2009 – Photozig, Inc. introduced its flagship technologies "Pepcast™ with personalized web albums" and "LifeZig™ reminiscence slideshows" at the NASA Research Park Technology Showcase today.

Pepcast is a new way of sharing and enjoying online digital photo albums and slideshows in a community with easy upload, browse, organize, personalize, and email features. Users can personalize and design a custom style for their Pepcast albums, or choose a professionally designed theme/skin.  Albums can be added to an existing or new user community, devoted to a common interest.

The Pepcast website www.pepcast.com is now open to the public, after initially hosting pictures related to NASA Research Park. Originally developed for Yuri’s Night Bay Area 2008, Pepcast provided a community for thousands of attendees celebrating our space heritage at NASA Ames Research Center and around the world.

LifeZig, funded by the National Institute on Aging under grant R44AG022261, is a new activity for dementia patients based on personalized reminiscence slideshow programs, which may contribute to enhancing quality of life, reducing agitation, and decreasing the burden of care.

Pepcast provides intuitive photo organization and sharing features to create a free online digital photo album and free slideshow. Pepcast was also designed to work with Photozig Albums, a free slideshow software and digital photo organizer that transfers photos and clips from digital cameras, organizes albums, produces slideshows with photos, movies, and music, generates screensavers, emails photos, and creates free online photo albums and slideshows.
